GP Extended Hours Service

All patients registered with GP's in Western Cheshire now have the opportunity to book a routine appointment outside normal practice hours. This is particularly suitable for patients who work outside the area or are not able to book a routine appointment during normal surgery hours.

Appointments won't be with your own GP, but WILL be with a suitably qualified health professional such as a Doctor or Practice Nurse.

NHS 111

When the Practice is closed you can easily dial 111 and speak to a Triage Nurse.

NHS 111 is a fast and easy way to get the right help, whatever the time.

You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation. They will ask you questions to assess your symptoms, then give you the healthcare advice you need or direct you straight away to the local service that can help you best.

You may be given telephone advice, invited to attend one of the treatment centres operated by the service, or (if you are not well enough to attend a centre) you may be given a home visit.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

GP Out Of Hours Service

If you require urgent medical advice when the surgery is closed (overnight, at weekends or during Bank Holidays) you can get advice from, or a consultation with, the Western Cheshire Out of Hours Service. To access this services please dial 111.
